This thread continnues the storyline of The abandoned castleEveryone who wants to start playing may pop in here and now now (Or potherwiswe join the peeps in the dark forrest in Camping trip of doom) What happend so far :The TARDIS-Team found a mysterious unpenetrable castle on an unknown planet. While exploring it, everything locks down and they temporary get seperated from each other, and Lev gets kidnapped by Solemn, the mysterious owner of the castle who shows an obvious fixation on her. When the Doctor finds her, he's not exactly amused and tries to get her out. Solemn offers his castle in exchange for her, but the Doctor doesn't accept that, but offers instead to take him along/anywhere he wants to, which he doesn't accept first. When the Doctor recognizes that the rooms are not locked anymore he attacks Solemn and orders the team to run. Solemn gets shot again, but survives and Lev takes care for him. The offer to take him aboard the TARDIS still stands, and so they leave the castle together with Solemn, who is unsure of where to go.[NRPG : Sorry that the intro took me so extraordinary long, I just found no time to finish the summary before :/]

The Doctor had made several attempts to use the DNA sample Solemn gave him to find Solemn's friend. He'd finally cobbled something together, as he was fond of doing, and had attached it to part of the central console. The TARDIS had bucked like a wild stallion that had no intention of being broken, and he and the rest of the TARDIS crew had been thrown about. Nothing unusual in that... It was a battle of wills that the Doctor had won, but not before he had made a few choice threats that the TARDIS knew he would carry out, as he had done before.
She was now, hopefully, making her way to Solemn's friend's last known location. The Doctor was eyeing the console warily, waiting to jump into action just in case she wanted to play up one last time.

The first thing Beth did after returning to the TARDIS was getting rid of her coat and her scarf, for she felt as if she was about to boil. The second thing was to wash her face. When she returned to the rest she saw the Doctor running a DNA-Test on Solemn. A sort of advanced version... Beth was curious enough to sit down next to them and to watch silently while intently watching everything and keeping it in mind.
She was waving a piece of paper filled with her notes of what she investigated about Daleks during the last days, to get some fresh, cool air while listening to the Doctor and Solemn. She sorta liked Solemn and thought that he was sweet.
Taking a little look into her notes regarding the different types of Daleks, Kaled-Mutants and their Travel units over the millenia she smirked a little, leaned back in her chair, and was wondering how the TARDIS was able to make her way to one specific familiar pattern of DNA. Hopefully it did not create a time loop by landing at Solemn's previous self some hours ago...

The planet the TARDIS materialised on was teeming with all sorts of plant and animal life in direct contrast to Solemn's, though there was a castle. This one appeared to be a much more compact version of Solemn's and in much better condition, too. There was nothing preventing the TARDIS from landing inside the castle, but she did anyway. One Solemn was more than enough, obviously.
As he gathered the TARDIS crew and Solemn together to leave, she gave a mental sigh of relief. When the Doctor rebuked her for being rude, the TARDIS made a noise that sounded suspiciously like a raspberry. It was quite disconcerting. She had never done that before!

Duggan scowled after he broke the stained glass window in the room and peered through, hoping that he had at last found the way out of this crazy place. But all that greeted his tired and frustrated eyes was another room. He surmised a long time ago that he was in some sort of crazy castle. The walls, the trappings, and the hugeness of the place just screamed castle to him.
With his luck the only way out he would find would be at the top of the tallest turret with no way down. He wasn't even sure how he got there in the first place. He'd not met anyone whom was able to give him any answers either. His mood was downright sour as he broke more of the glass so he could hoist his body up and through the window since the door to the room was locked and he wasn't going to turn back because that would admit defeat. So it was with dogged determination that Detective Duggan continued exploring the infuriating castle.

Lev glanced around the planet the TARDIS had landed on. Glancing at Solemn she shrugged. This planet felt slightly strange....no wonder the TARDIS had behaved so odd

Duggan found a bottle of what he'd hoped was wine in what looked to be a wine cellar. Hadn't he been going UP in the castle? When had he gone down to the cellars? Sighing bitterly he looked around for a glass or goblet but all he found were some dusty bowls. Great, he thought, a bowl of wine and thou. Screw it. Having nothing to open the bottle with, he decided to use what worked best for him... force. He whacked the neck of the bottle against the wall and it shattered, then he poured himself a bowlful of wine. He kept the bottle in hand as he sipped the wine knowing he looked ridiculous as he did so but didn't care.
"Always more then one way to gut a cat." He mumbled into his wine and continued exploring.

The Doctor gave the castle a preliminary scan with his sonic screwdriver. The results made him raise his eyebrows. "This castle wasn't built," he said. "It grew out of the ground. This castle is technically a plant." He touched the wall. It felt smooth and cold as stone, but there a distinct pulsing there. "It's alive."

Duggan wouldn't even consider hollering 'hello' in a place like that in hopes of someone to answer. Who knew what would reside in a castle like this? More weird aliens perhaps? He didn't know if he was ready to handle more of that kind of strangeness. His last run in with the Doctor had been his only encounter (that he knew of) that involved crazy aliens. Of course, they looked relatively human... besides that god awful ugly one eyed fellow. Who was to say if there weren't more like them on Earth? And speaking of Earth, where on Earth was he??
