Oh, I'm sure they'll find a way around that somehow. Like the 12 regenerations limit not being valid now Gallifrey's gone.

It's a waste and I still hope it wound become something like "Tardis 90210" the stile of the 11th doctor, in any case somehow rocks and suit him very well... it looks a little bit to 10th doctorish to me, but if they changed the character enough that's ok... at least the stile of the first and the second doctor were also very close, exept of the hats, and their characters where anything but sure not close. At last I hope they find a more elegant way then "Galifrey is gone, regenerations for free!" but it would be a way!

One of Matt's hairdos makes me think he could front A Flock Of Seagulls for some reason. I'm not too keen on it, to be honest.
I've thought of several ideas about the Doctor not being limited to twelve regenerations, but they more involve him receiving another twelve from an unlikely source. Even the Master, simply based on the quote "A cosmos without the Doctor scarcely bears thinking about"

Yeah... why not the same source the Master got his... something like "you returned galifrey and gave you last live for it, that's why we give you an other 12" would do it in my opinion ^^

Gah. Now you've got me imaging a sprite version of the Doctor jumping up, hitting a box, and receiving a '12-up' mushroom...

Well... I imagined a version the doctor meets the princess... I mean his companion after a boss and she somehow becomes some strange enemy...

Jack Harkness: "I'm sorry, Doctor, but your companion is on another planet." Doctor: "..."
